The initial challenge should be straightforward for you. It reflects an aspect of the role and provides valuable insights into what you can expect in the position.

It's a great opportunity to showcase your skills. For example, an FPGA developer might face a Verilog or VHDL coding riddle, while a software engineer might tackle a C++ or C# algorithm challenge. Within a Sales or Marketing role you will answer customer requests or write a LinkedIn post.

Every challenge you can complete at home at your convenience. This task is specifically designed for the application process and reflects the actual role.

You will work on a challenging engineering puzzle at home that reflects the job role. A detailed written problem statement will be provided for you to work on independently.

For an Application Scientist position, the challenge could involve problems encountered in an experimental physics lab. A Sales challenge could involve a Sales role-play whereas a administrative role could involve a taks in priorization. Every In-Depth challenge can be solved from home and at your preferred date and time. The time spam is from 1.5 hours up to 12h for complex coding issues. The challenges give you a better understanding of the role and are supposed to be fun as well.

By the way, you're not doing our job! You're tackling a problem that relates to a real issue but is specifically designed for the hiring process. :)

The interview is designed to understand your professional journey, exploring your motivations, interests, and learnings throughout your career. You will also talk about your preferred working style, professional interests, and areas where you seek improvement. Additionally, the interview aims to understand your motivations for wanting to join Swabian Instruments and how this aligns with your personal and professional goals.

Furthermore, technical and situative qestions will be included to assess your skills and how they complement the needs of our team.
