C# WPF Technical Project Lead / Architect (m/f/d)

Your role

You will be the key person within Swabian Instruments’ growing application team. You will take over project responsibility for the technical implementations and roadmaps, as well as being a major contributor to our codebase. You lead the C# team members through your example of enthusiasm and constant striving for improvement and new, creative ideas.

Your contribution to our team

  • Functional lead of the C# team of 3-5 developers and support for the team members whenever they need it

  • Develop coding guidelines with a focus on high code quality as well as providing robust, maintainable and extendable code

  • Ensure a frequent exchange with physicists and C++ team / library developers

  • Design, implement, maintain and improve the C# front ends

  • Provide an excellent user experience for our high-end measurement devices

Job requirements

  • Project management skills

  • Experience in managing onsite / remote teams

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics

  • At least 10 years of experience with C#, WPF, GUI and API design

  • Experience with Reactive UI, C++ and / or measurement instrumentation is a plus

  • Confident and effective communication in English, German is an advantage

  • Ability to challenge yourself and your colleagues in the search for the best solution

  • Willigness to work most of the time in our office on site in Stuttgart, mobile working by prior arrangement
